Commerce Verified is a reader-supported publication. We collect as little personal data as we can while still running the site, understanding what content is useful, and sending our newsletter to people who ask for it.

Information we collect

We collect two kinds of information: data you give us directly, and data collected automatically as you browse.

• Information you provide. If you sign up for our newsletter or request a lead magnet, we collect your email address so we can deliver it.
• Usage data. We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are read and how the site performs. This is aggregate and does not identify you personally.
• Affiliate click data. When you follow an outbound link to a tool we cover, we log the click in aggregate (which tool, the referring page, coarse country, and device class) so we can see what readers find useful. We do not sell or publish this data.

How we use your information

We use the data above to operate and improve the site, send the newsletter and lead magnets you request, measure which reviews and guides are useful, and keep the site secure. We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies and tracking

We keep cookies to a minimum. Our analytics is configured to avoid unnecessary tracking cookies where possible. When you click an outbound link to a tool, the destination site may set its own cookies and receive standard referral and campaign parameters — that is controlled by their privacy policy, not ours.

We rely on a small set of reputable providers to run the site — including hosting, email and newsletter delivery, and analytics. Each processes data only to provide its service to us, under its own privacy terms.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the link in any email. You can also ask us to access or delete the personal data we hold about you by emailing hello@commerceverified.com.

We may update this policy as the site evolves. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected here.
